Refunds, Returns & Order Issues Policy

At Dank Mart, we sell perishable food products. For health, safety, and quality-control reasons, all food and snack items are final sale and cannot be returned once shipped or delivered.

1. No returns on food items

We do not accept returns or exchanges for food, beverage, or other perishable consumable products, including where a customer changes their mind, orders the wrong item, or does not like the taste or flavour.

2. Orders that arrive damaged, incorrect, defective, or subject to recall

If your order arrives:

  • damaged in transit,
  • materially defective,
  • incorrect, or
  • subject to a product recall,

please contact us at help@dankmart.ca within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • your order number,
  • a description of the issue, and
  • clear photos of the product, packaging, and shipping label.

If your claim is approved, we may, at our discretion and as appropriate:

  • send a replacement,
  • issue store credit, or
  • issue a refund to your original method of payment.

3. No unauthorized returns

Please do not send products back without prior written authorization from us. Unauthorized returns may be refused and will not automatically qualify for a refund or credit.

4. Refund processing

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for us to process the refund, plus any additional time required by your bank or card issuer.

5. Shipping charges

Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except where the refund is being issued because:

  • we shipped the wrong item,
  • the item arrived damaged, or
  • the refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

If we ask you to return a non-food item or send us something back in connection with an approved claim, we will advise you whether return shipping will be covered.

6. Failed delivery / incorrect address

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered at checkout is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or misdelivered due to an incorrect address entered by the customer.

7. Non-delivery and legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law. Where required by law, eligible cancellations and refunds will be handled in accordance with those laws.
